Clocks App Reviews

need far more for pricey 2. 99

need to be moved to any part of menu bar. Needs to be able to sort the clocks as one wishes. Needs to have more color, like red, and option for clocks to be certain colors of one’s choice. need to note daylight savings time across the year for certain locations. Needs to allow customization in font. My screen are huge and this app is WAY over there on the far right in the menu bar… have to literally move chair to read it. Not good. It oght to be both floating and moveable, transparent and ever present or hidden the write up for the app is not reflective of the limitations of this app the clocks themselves seem to work fine, however the typeface and the clocks themselves are MINISCULE and hard to read. I would look for another app, and will. Apps are not that hard to make. This was a good idea but not developed past ‘here are some clocks’ and you can use the slide to fast forward or back up time. The latter not really a need we have here.

An Excellent Time Tool

Even the expanded world clock in Yosemite is no match for Clocks. A separate display, Clocks can take over the display of your time while adding important information. First, you can add the current time zone to your status bar - and it can be a custom choice. In my case, when in the US Central Time Zone, I use USCT. Western Europe, EUWT. This allows you to know what time zone the clock is showing at all times. No more mistakes! Low resource usage, and it really is as simple as the displayed demo pictures. The slider part is neat, but I don’t use it. Now, it’s also working with Dark Mode. If you travel, and have to do any coordination, you’ll find this tool to be very handy.

Yosemite Update!

Thanks for the Yosemite Dark Mode update!

Daylight Savings Time???

How do you adjust for DST???? Clock is now wrong and can’t seem to be changed.

Not bad but...

Good App!! It’s very useful, but could be improved by: (A) Being able to display just the location and time without the date (also just the time by itself). (B) Being able to move it over next to the existing time display (Example: GMT: 17:34:56 | Thu Feb 26 12:34:56 OR Thu Feb 26 12:34:56 |GMT: 17:34:56). (C) Having more than one time displayed in the menu bar (Example: GMT: 17:34:56 | EST: 12:34:56 | CST: 11:34:56 | MST: 10:34:56 | PST: 09:34:56). (D) Having the option to change the Font and/or color. (E) Having the ability to set an alarm. Great work! Hope to see these improvements.

Awesome when working with many time zones

I work internationally and have to coordinate multiple time zones. The slider function that allows you to go ahead in time and coordinate many time zones is awesome. Well done!

… It’s wrong

I installed this for coordinating timezones internationally. It’s currently 7:30pm in Spain and is telling me that it’s 2:30am tomorrow in San Francisco.

Excellent app!

It does exactly what it says it’s going to do and it does it beautifully. Totally recommended.

One of the few App Store purchases I use every day

I’ve bought a lot of apps here and most of them I’ve either deleted or they remain on my computer and are rarely used. This one, however, I use every day to keep track of the time where my friends in other time zones live. It’s simple and elegant. It never gets in the way and has no annoying bells and whistles.

Exactly what I was looking for

Thank you for this app. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I love that I can replace the OS time date on my menu bar too.

can’t turn off second hand??

why the developers thought it would be good idea to include the sweeping second hand is beyond me. And then I can’t get rid of it…and there is no help funciton.

Please update this app

The app is not working with 10.11

Exactly what I needed

I tried several others first, then found this. Needed to keep track of local times in various areas for work. This does this trick and having in the menu bar makes it easy to refer to. Well done!

Clocks are tiny!

The only thing I don’t like is that the clocks are small and I can’t find a way to make them bigger. The older I get, the more I need the ability to zoom some things in and out but not everything all at once.

Not starting at log in

The app has a bug: It does not automatically strat at log in. Otherwise the app does what it’s supposed to.
